Your job
In the Financial Markets Research internship, you get hands-on experience with conducting and writing sell-side fixed income research for institutional investors and large issuers. The internship is focussed on the analysis of big data from internal sources as well as public vendor terminals (such as Bloomberg) to verify the performance potential of corporate bonds with an ESG label. We also offer you the opportunity to convert the findings from this internship into a (master) thesis. Next to this you will support the senior positions in the research teams on ad-hoc analysis and projects.

The Financial Markets Research team is part of Group Economics (GE), and works closely with other GE functions, such as Sustainability Research and Macro Economic/Business Cycle Research.
Your profile
We are looking for skilled and high-performing interns, who
- Are at the top of your year in a MSc or in the final year of BSc in Economics, Finance, Data Science, Econometrics or Mathematics (or a related study).
- Have a demonstrable interest in financial products and markets, and by nature curious about products and markets with an ESG label.
- You are able to start in as soon as possible.
- You have programming skills (preferably in Python).
- You have proficient written and spoken English language skills.
