Reliability and credibility of sustainability information within the annual report are becoming more important in today's society. The EU Green Deal is driving a major initiative to link financial KPIs to environmental, social and governance (ESG) metrics. Increasingly, financial accounting and reporting skills are required for high quality non-financial ESG reporting. Do you want to help clients in shaping their ESG reporting, while at the same time learn all about financial accounting and reporting and be involved a range of financial and ESG reporting projects? Join our team and support our clients by advising them on their (sustainability) reporting challenges!
Your challenges
- Do you investigate, advise, analyze and facilitate?
- Want to solve complex (sustainability) reporting and financial accounting challenges?
- Do you want to support our clients in advising how to interpret new sustainability requirements and help the client get future proof?
- Interested to act as linking pin between KPMG and the client?
- Do you have a critical thinking mindset?
- Do you want to develop yourself as subject matter expert in accounting and ESG reporting?
- Master studies in Accounting or Control or other relevant studies
- Specific interest in sustainability/ESG
- Max. 2 years of working experience after Master
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, ability to work under pressure
- Work independently and enjoy the challenge of working with multiple stakeholders
- Fluency in Dutch and English

KPMG Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services, is a specialized department that advises clients on complex accounting challenges related to the financial statements, IPO’s, Mergers & Acquisitions, GAAP Conversions, new (sustainability) reporting standards and many more. The combination of accounting and sustainability, top notch (inter)national clients and a professional team of experienced team members to support you, will boost your skills and knowledge. After a thorough introduction, you will immediately be part of client facing teams who support our clients (all around the world) realizing their ambitions. You will be working on accounting topics as well sustainability reporting.
