Young professional software engineer

Are you passionate about software development? Do you enjoy creating software and building cool applications? Then this software program is what you are looking for! The Young Professional Program will give you the chance to become part of the software development team of Itility.

Typical projects Itility is dealing with:

  • Software development using microservices and/or serverless architecture
  • Internet of Things projects like a real-time analytics platform for a motor that is travelling around the world in 80 days
  • Software development on cloud platforms like Azure, Amazon, or Google
  • Working on our own robotised platform ”Itility Cloud Control” that enables us to manage IT environments, hands-off and fully automated

What is the Young Professional Program (YPP)?

An intensive 6-months program enabling an interesting combination of working and studying. The dedicated skill training sessions and personal guidance will make sure you feel comfortable and ready to start your career at Itility.

First you start with 3 months of training in a class filled with other talents. In sprints of 3 weeks, you will get content-based training sessions and assignments. In addition, we will provide you with specific skills training sessions from our Itility Academy. Your “buddy” will guide and coach you along the way.

Next is 3 months at the customer, working on a specific assignment that best suits your newly-developed skills. This will help you to get to know your colleagues, get a taste of the working environment, and meet our enterprise customers such as ASML, Marel, NXP, KPN, Vanderlande and Ampleon.

The program mainly takes place at our headquarters in Eindhoven. However: aim for the best – the young professional achieving the best results with the challenges wins the ultimate customer challenge: at Itility US, in California.

This is what we offer:
  • An extensive educational program with personal guidance
  • A competitive salary, including a contribution for health insurance and retirement
  • Laptop and smartphone
  • Expense reimbursement
  • A car or mobility contribution (only when working at the customer in the Netherlands)
Who are you?

You are young, talented and want to kick-start your career. You (almost) have a Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or software development with a GPA of at least 7.0. You are eager to put your knowledge into practice and have a maximum of 2 years of working experience. And most important: you want to extend your knowledge and are not afraid of challenges.
