NN offers you a traineeship which consists of a two-year programme with a total of three short assignments (know as ‘rotations’) and an extensive development programme. The traineeship also offers you the opportunity to spend one rotation in one of our offices abroad. You can see the structure of the full programme below.

During the two years you will have the opportunity to explore parts of the organisation that match your interests and ambition. It is up to you to decide where you want to go!

Trainee profile
  • You have a Master’s degree, or you expect to graduate in the coming months. The content of your Master’s is of less importance. If your Master’s is not directly related to our business, we ask you to emphasise your motivation and how your personal skills can be of value for our clients and NN Group;
  • You have a maximum of two years of work experience from the moment you graduated;
  • You have significant experience in the field of “General Management”. This can be in a leadership role as well as other roles. You will need to clearly show the added value you have shown in various situations;
  • You are ambitious to get the best out of yourself and to progress towards senior roles;
  • You have well-developed communication skills;
  • You have a proactive attitude that shows in extracurricular activities (for example sports, entrepreneurship, committees, work experience);

Your added value will be in problem analysis and problem solving, communication, motivating people and successfully managing projects.
