As a trainee you will join a 2-year program, in which you will be fulfilling 2 or 3 challenging assignments in different departments and sectors within Philips. For some of our Trainees it is even an option to work abroad. The Traineeship focusses on ‘learning on the job’, mentoring and training. Your responsibilities
- Supporting factories and BG’s with CoE offering, mainly focusing on cost price developments and factory productivity and forecast / planning support;Map FP&A activities and support blueprint set up for the reporting and analysis domain (including allocation of tasks within the team, FP&A organization and low cost reporting organization).Support proactive and timely high quality analysis in the operations domain that supports the business partners in decision making. Initiate improvement projects to enable efficient and effective analysis and contribute to LEAN initiatives run, to continuously improve processes and step up the CoE service offering.
- Delivering an automated solution within a key initiative on the BMC (Business Market Combination) analytics to streamline process and create efficiency for the team to focus on value adding activities; Participating in the roll-out of new A&P tool designed by CoE to markets, assisting the Global Process Owner for project management; Supporting 1 market within CoE offering, mainly focusing on margin analysis and forecast / planning support; Working together with the team on the Lean initiatives run, to continuously improve processes and step up the CoE service offering.
- have recently graduated or will graduate latest August 2016 with a Master’s Degree in the directions of Business Administration, Business economics, Finance or Accounting. Or you have less than 1 year of work experience straight after your graduation;
- have excellent inter-personal and communication skills, so you can persuade colleagues at all ranks in the organization;
- have international experience or an international mindset and the ability to use internal and external resources to maximize the value for the company and its customers;
- speak and write fluent English

- if you achieve the required score on this test, you will be invited for Skype interviews end of January / February with one of our recruiters;
- the most suitable candidates will be invited to the Traineeship Business Challenge Event in the Netherlands, to be scheduled on April 4 & 5 2016. During the event you will spend 1.5 day with similar minded graduates, working on a range of highly challenging exercises in a number of business-related scenarios. This is the final step in the traineeship selection process.When you successfully complete the selection process you are able to start between the 1st of May and September 2016 in your first assignment which are especially created for this program.
