In this role, you have the opportunity to
learn and grow as a professional within the corporate IT domain. As a trainee, you will join a 2-year program, in which you will be fulfilling 3 challenging assignments in different departments within Philips IT. The Traineeship focusses on ‘learning on the job’, mentoring and training. You will benefit from ample opportunities to learn and share with other Philips IT trainees and employees, while expanding your business network. After two years of accelerated learning and gaining valuable experience, you are in the driver seat of your career. You will get the chance to use the network you have built to find the perfect next step in your Philips IT career.
Your responsibilities
Your responsibilities will differ per assignment, example assignment are:
- Mergers & Acquisition integration: Support due diligence and smooth integration of IT activities in mergers & acquisition process.
- Architecture: Responsible for developing IT architecture, analyze business context to guide solution decisions, provide advisory to key stakeholders and ensure architecture is fully aligned.
- E-Commerce: Transforming the way of working in e-commerce with fact based analysis implementing leans principles with excellent stakeholder management. Driving the implantation of e-Shops.
- Digital: Set up and improve PMO for IT digital (Digital marketing, internet of things and digital platforms created for health care purposes).
- IT Governance (office of the CIO): Drive improvement initiatives throughout the IT organization, support performance monitoring, support preparing of reporting on Executive level.
- IT Service Management: Currently the transition process started to transform from IT KPI’s and IT process monitoring to Business Process Monitoring. You will keep track of the total progress by connecting the dots and having a helicopter view starting from business processes to IT processes and systems.

- have recently graduated or will graduate latest August 2019 with a Master’s Degree in the fields of Business Information Management, Business Information Systems, Business Process Management, Economics, (digital) Marketing or Business Administration. You have maximum 1 year of work experience following your graduation;
- have excellent inter-personal and communication skills, so you can persuade colleagues at all ranks in the organization using your own style;
- are driven by operational excellence and have an eye for detail;
- experience in problem solving and change management techniques is a plus;
- international experience or an international mindset is a plus;
- have the ability to use internal and external resources to maximize the value for the company and its customers;
- have project management skills;
- speak and write fluent English;

As a trainee you will receive a contract for the period of 2 years, with excellent labor conditions.

- if you pass the pre-selection round an online ability test can be part of the recruitment process;
- if you achieve the required score on this test, you will be invited for a short recruiter interview inApril / May 2019;
- the most suitable candidates will be invited for the Selection Day in the Netherlands, Eindhoven (13th & 18th of June – you only need to attend 1 selection day); your presence during the Selection Day is required.
When you successfully complete the selection process, you will start your first assignment per September 2019.
